Guest Guidelines for Staying at a Spot on RentMySpot.us

To ensure a great experience for you, your host, and future guests, we ask that you follow these simple guidelines when staying at a RentMySpot.us location:

Before & During Your Stay

• Stick to Your Departure Date: Please plan to leave by the departure date you selected in your reservation. Once you’re packed up, use the QR code on the RentMySpot.us sign at your site to let us know you’ve headed out.
• Share Your Arrival Time: Let your host know when you expect to arrive. If you’re running late or plans change, just send an update to keep communication clear.
• Need to Cancel or Reschedule? Notify your host at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or won’t make it by the agreed-upon check-in time.

While at the Spot

• Use Only What’s Offered: Only access the services and amenities specifically listed on the Spot’s profile. If it’s not mentioned, it’s not included.
• Respect the Land: No dumping of grey water or trash unless clearly stated as an available service on the Spot’s profile. Pack it in, pack it out.
• Watch Over Kids & Pets: Children and pets must be supervised at all times. Be sure to clean up after your pets and take waste with you when you leave.
• Report Any Damage: Accidents happen! If anything is damaged—big or small—please let the host know right away and be prepared to cover any reasonable repair costs.
• No Unapproved Guests: Don’t invite visitors who aren’t part of your reservation unless you’ve received approval through RentMySpot.us.

• Be Respectful: Treat all hosts, guests, and community members with kindness and respect—regardless of race, religion, background, gender, identity, or ability.
