Q: What types of Spots can I rent?
A: We offer a wide range of Spots including gravel-based RV pads, tent sites, domes, yurts, and even full hookup campgrounds. Each Spot is unique and listed with its own set of features and amenities.

Q: How do I know if a Spot is available?
A: Each Spot listing includes a calendar showing availability. Simply choose your dates, submit your stay request, and wait for confirmation from the host.

Q: Are the roads and sites vehicle-friendly?
A: Yes! Most of our Spots include easy-access gravel roads and level gravel bases, making them suitable for most vehicles and RVs. Specific accessibility details are listed in each Spot’s description.

Q: Is there water, electric, or sewer hookup?
A: Some Spots offer full or partial hookups, while others are off-grid. Be sure to check the amenities listed on the Spot’s profile before booking.

Q: Can I bring pets?
A: Many of our Spots are pet-friendly, but it’s up to each individual host. Please check the listing or ask before bringing your furry friends.

Q: What’s the cancellation policy?
A: We ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your check-in time. Refunds and cancellation terms may vary by Spot, so review the cancellation policy listed in each profile.

Q: Can I host guests at the Spot I rent?
A: Only guests included in your original booking are allowed on the property unless you’ve received prior approval from the host through RentMySpot.us.


For Landowners

Q: How do I list my property?
A: It’s easy! Just click “Partner with Us” on our homepage footer menu and follow the steps to add your location, upload photos, and define your rules and amenities.

Q: What kind of properties can I rent out?
A: Almost any outdoor space! From a simple gravel RV pad or tent-friendly clearing to a unique yurt, dome, or glamping structure. If it’s private, accessible, and safe, you can likely rent it.

Q: Is it free to list my Spot?
A: Yes! Listing your Spot on RentMySpot.us is completely free. We only take a small service fee from bookings, so you only pay when you earn.

Q: Do I need to provide utilities?
A: Not at all. While hookups can increase your Spot’s value, many travelers prefer off-grid or “dry camping” experiences. You decide what’s available.

Q: Am I protected if something goes wrong?
A: We strongly encourage all hosts to set clear rules and communicate with guests. You may also choose to require a security deposit or cleaning fee. We’re here to help mediate in case of any issues.

Q: How do I get paid?
A: After each completed stay, funds are automatically transferred to your preferred payout method — securely and efficiently.

Q: Can I block off dates or adjust availability?
A: Absolutely. You control your calendar and can update availability, pricing, and minimum/maximum stay lengths anytime.
